Ligue 1 (Week 25) : PSG defeats Marseille 2-1
FRANCE, Feb. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 25: 9 wins in a row for PSG. After their success against Nice, Lyon, Caen, Bastia, Toulouse, Angers, Saint-Etienne and Lorient, PSG continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Marseille this Sunday.
PSG forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened the score in the 2nd minute, before seeing Marseille catch up in the 25th minute thanks to Rémy Cabella. 1-1 at half time. PSG eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Di Maria Angel in the 71st minute.
Paris Saint-Germain remains in first place with 69 points from 25 games, a 24-point lead over runner-up AS Monaco.
