FRANCE, Feb. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 25: After losing 2-0 to Monaco on February 2, Bastia bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Troyes this Saturday.
Floyd Ayité scored dual goals
Bastia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Togolese forward Floyd Ayité in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bastia players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Ayité on penalty with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Bastia climbed to 14th place with 31 points from 25 games, tie on points with Guingamp.
