FRANCE, Feb. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 25: Two wins in a row for Monaco. After their 2-0 win against Bastia on February 2, Monaco continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 1-0 victory over Nice this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Monégasque midfielder Tiemoué Bakayoko with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
AS Monaco remains in second place with 45 points from 25 games, 21 points behind Paris Saint-Germain, which has a game in hand.
