FRANCE, Sep. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 5: Four wins in a row for Monaco. After their success against Nantes, PSG and Lille, Monaco continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-0 victory over Rennes this Saturday.
Thomas Lemar scored dual goals
Monaco dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Colombian forward Radamel Falcao in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Monaco players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Lemar '90, '90).
AS Monaco remains in first place with 13 points from 5 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Paris Saint-Germain.
