Ligue 1 (Week 30) : Bordeaux defeats Montpellier 5-1
FRANCE, Mar. 18, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 30: After losing 2-1 to Monaco on March 11, Bordeaux returned to winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Montpellier this Saturday.
Diego Rolán scored dual goals
Bordeaux dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rolán ('25), Sankharé ('30) and Vada Valentin ('32 on penalty). Leading 3-0 at the break, Bordeaux players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Rolán '76 and Malcom Filipe '90).
Bordeaux remains in 6th place with 46 points from 30 games, tie on points with Olympique de Marseille.
