Ligue 1 (Week 30) : Metz beats Bastia 1-0
FRANCE, Mar. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 30: After their 1-1 draw against Rennes on March 12 and 2-2 draw against Saint-Etienne on March 12, Metz returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Bastia this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Bastia defender Gilles Cioni into his own net in the 47th minute.
Metz climbed to 13rd place with 35 points from 29 games, only one point behind Angers SCO.
