FRANCE, Mar. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 29: The match between Saint-Etienne and Metz ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Metz players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Sarr Ismaila in the 1st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Falette goal ('67) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Saint-Etienne with goals by Beric Robert ('53) and Loïc Perrin ('90).
Saint-Etienne remains in 7th place with 41 points from 29 games, 2 points behind Bordeaux.
