FRANCE, Mar. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 29: The match between Rennes and Dijon ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Dijon players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Cape Verdean forward Julio Tavares in the 42nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Rennes with a saving goal from Rennes forward Wesley Saïd in the 58th minute.
Rennes are down in 9th place with 38 points from 29 games, tie on points with Guingamp.
