Ligue 1 (Week 29) : Lille beats Nancy 2-1
FRANCE, Mar. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 29: After their 1-1 draw against Toulouse on March 5, Lille returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Nancy this Saturday.
Nancy had started off well by taking the lead in the 31st minute with a goal by Dia Issiar. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Lille players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (De Préville '63 on penalty and Lopes Rony '81).
Lille climbed to 14th place with 33 points from 29 games, tie on points with Montpellier HSC.
