FRANCE, Mar. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 28: The match between Toulouse and Lille ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Toulouse players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Toulouse defender Christopher Jullien in the 30th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Lille with a saving goal from Lille forward Yassine Benzia in the 80th minute.
Toulouse remains in 9th place with 36 points from 28 games, one point behind Rennes.
