FRANCE, Mar. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 28: After losing 1-5 to PSG on February 26, Marseille returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Lorient this Sunday.
Marseille dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rolando Jorge ('6) and Payet ('19). Leading 2-0 at the break, Marseille players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Thauvin '53 and Sanson '56).
Olympique de Marseille climbed to 6th place with 42 points from 28 games, only one point behind Bordeaux.
