FRANCE, Mar. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 28: The match between Metz and Rennes ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Metz players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Diabate Cheick in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Rennes with a saving goal from Rennes forward Wesley Saïd in the 90th minute.
Rennes remains in 8th place with 37 points from 28 games, 2 points behind Olympique de Marseille, which has a game in hand.
