Ligue 1 (Week 27) : Lyon defeats Metz 5-0
FRANCE, Feb. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Lyon. After their 4-2 win against Dijon on February 19, “Les Gones” continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 5-0 victory over Metz this Sunday.
Depay Memphis scored dual goals
Lyon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Depay Memphis in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, “Les Gones” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Depay Memphis '53, Balliu Ivan '74/own, Lacazette '78 and Valbuena Mathieu '90).
Olympique Lyonnais remains in fourth place with 46 points from 26 games, 10 points behind Paris Saint-Germain.
