Ligue 1 (Week 27) : Nice beats Montpellier 2-1
FRANCE, Feb. 24, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Nice. After their 0-1 win against Lorient on February 18, Nice continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Montpellier this Friday.
Mickaël Le Bihan scored dual goals
Montpellier had started off well by taking the lead in the 9th minute with a goal by forward Steve Mounié. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Nice players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Le Bihan Mickael '68, '85).
OGC Nice climbed to second place with 59 points from 27 games, tie on points with AS Monaco, which has a game in hand.
