FRANCE, Mar. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 29: Two wins in a row for Marseille. After their 1-4 win against Lorient on March 5, Marseille continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-0 victory over Angers this Friday.
Florian Thauvin scored dual goals
Marseille dominated the first half thanks to goals from Thauvin ('9) and Cabella ('20). Leading 2-0 at the break, Marseille players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Thauvin in the 77th minute.
Olympique de Marseille climbed to fifth place with 45 points from 29 games, 2 points behind Olympique Lyonnais, which has two games in hand.
