FRANCE, Mar. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 29: Nice was held to a 2-2 draw by Caen on Friday.
Caen players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Santini Ivan in the 36th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Karamoh Yann goal ('49) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Nice with goals by Mario Balotelli ('71) and Anastasios Donis ('77).
OGC Nice climbed to second place with 63 points from 29 games, 2 points behind AS Monaco, which has a game in hand.
