FRANCE, Mar. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 30: After their 0-0 draw against Bastia on March 12 and 2-2 draw against Metz on March 12, Saint-Etienne returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Dijon this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Saint-Etienne midfielder Jordan Veretout in the 77th minute.
Saint-Etienne remains in 7th place with 44 points from 30 games, 2 points behind Bordeaux.
