FRANCE, May. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 37: Nice crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 2-0 against Angers.
Angers dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Senegalese midfielder Ndoye Cheikh in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, SCO further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Toko Ekambi Karl in stoppage time.
OGC Nice remains in third place with 77 points from 37 games, 9 points behind Paris Saint-Germain.
