Ligue 1 (Week 31) : Monaco beats Saint-Etienne 2-0
FRANCE, May. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 31: 11 wins in a row for Monaco. After their success against Guingamp, Nantes, Bordeaux, Caen, Angers, Dijon, Lyon, Toulouse, Nancy and Lille, Monaco continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over Saint-Etienne this Wednesday.
Monaco dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mbappe Kylian in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Monaco players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Germain in stoppage time.
AS Monaco remains in first place with 92 points from 37 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up Paris Saint-Germain.
