Ligue 2 (Week 24) : Ajaccio beats Nimes 2-0
FRANCE, Feb. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 24: After their 1-1 draw against Tours on January 29, Ajaccio bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Nimes this Tuesday.
Ajaccio dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Johan Cavalli in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Ajaccio players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Nouri with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Nimes Olympique remains in 12nd place with 29 points from 24 games, one point behind Stade Brest.
