Ligue 2 (Week 34) : Nimes beats Tours 2-1
FRANCE, Apr. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 34: Two wins in a row for Nimes. After their 2-0 win against Valenciennes on April 8, the Crocodiles continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Tours this Friday.
Nimes midfielder Jonathan Lacourt opened the score in the 45th minute, before seeing Tours catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Baptiste Santamaria. 1-1 at half time. The Crocodiles eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Maoulida in the 65th minute.
Nimes Olympique climbed to 9th place with 47 points from 34 games, only one point behind AJ Auxerre.
