Ligue 2 (Week 34) : Clermont defeats Valenciennes 2-1
FRANCE, Apr. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 34: After losing 2-3 to Dijon on April 9, Clermont bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Valenciennes this Friday.
Da Costa Nuno opened the score in the 11th minute on penalty, before seeing Clermont catch up in the 20th minute thanks to Famara Diedhiou. 1-1 at half time. Clermont eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Boulaya Farid seconds before the end of regulation.
Clermont Foot remains in 7th place with 54 points from 34 games, one point behind Red Star FC.
