Ligue 2 (Week 37) : Sochaux defeats Ajaccio 2-0
FRANCE, May. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 37: After losing 1-0 to Nancy on April 29 and 2-3 to Auxerre on April 29, “Les Lionceaux” returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Ajaccio this Friday.
Sochaux dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Hadi Sacko in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, “Les Lionceaux” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sao in the 72nd minute.
AC Ajaccio are down in 14th place with 42 points from 37 games, one point behind Valenciennes FC.
