Ligue 2 (Week 37) : Valenciennes defeats Paris FC 4-1
FRANCE, May. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 37: Two wins in a row for Valenciennes. After their 1-0 win against Nancy on May 2, the Athenians continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 4-1 victory over Paris FC this Friday.
Da Costa Nuno scored dual goals
Paris FC had started off well by taking the lead in the 31st minute with a goal by Camara Aboubacar. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Athenians nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring four times in the second period (Mbenza Isaac '58, Fulgini Angelo '59 and Da Costa Nuno '80, '88).
Valenciennes FC climbed to 13rd place with 43 points from 37 games, 3 points behind Stade Brest.
