FRANCE, May. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 37: The match between Nimes and Laval ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Laval players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Laval defender Fouad Chafik in the 13th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Nimes with a saving goal from Nimes forward Ripart Renaud in the 56th minute.
Nimes Olympique remains in 9th place with 51 points from 37 games, 3 points behind AJ Auxerre.
