Ligue 2 (Week 4) : Brest beats Valenciennes 3-2

FRANCE, Aug. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 4: Three wins in a row for Brest. After their success against Orleans and Red Star, Brest continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-2 victory over Valenciennes this Friday.

Brest forward Neal Maupay opened the score in the 26th minute, before seeing Valenciennes catch up in the 36th minute thanks to Fulgini Angelo. 1-1 at half time. Brest eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Joseph-monrose Steven ('79) and Battocchio Cristian ('89).

Stade Brest remains in first place with 10 points from 4 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up FC Sochaux-Montbeliard and RC Strasbourg Alsace.
