Ligue 2 (Week 32) : Nimes beats Clermont 3-2
FRANCE, Apr. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 32: Two wins in a row for Nimes. After their 1-0 win against Valenciennes on March 31, the Crocodiles continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-2 victory over Clermont this Friday.
Christian Kouakou scored dual goals
Nimes dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ripart Renaud ('7) and Kouakou ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Crocodiles further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Kouakou in the 55th minute.
Nimes Olympique climbed to fourth place with 51 points from 32 games, only one point behind Lens, which has a game in hand.
