Ligue 2 (Week 2) : Le Havre beats Auxerre 4-1
FRANCE, Aug. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Le Havre. After their 0-3 win against Tours on July 28, HAC continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 4-1 victory over Auxerre this Friday.
Assifuah Ebenezer scored dual goals
Auxerre had started off well by taking the lead in the 27th minute with a goal by midfielder Romain Philippoteaux. Trailing 1-0 at half time, HAC nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring four times in the second period (Assifuah Ebenezer '68, '85, Julan Nathael '87 and Ferhat Zinedine '90).
Le Havre AC remains in first place with 6 points from 2 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up FC Sochaux-Montbeliard.
