FRANCE, Oct. 13, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 11: Two wins in a row for Valenciennes. After their 3-4 win against Orleans on September 29, the Athenians continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-0 victory over Tours this Friday.
Tours made Valenciennes doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Roudet Sebastien ('58) and Dabo Eihadj ('84).
Valenciennes FC climbed to 9th place with 17 points from 11 games, tie on points with Clermont Foot, which has a game in hand.
