Ligue 2 (Week 10) : Valenciennes beats Orleans 4-3
FRANCE, Sep. 29, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 10: After losing 3-0 to Ajaccio on September 22 and 0-2 to Auxerre on September 22, the Athenians returned to winning ways with a 4-3 victory over Orleans this Friday.
Mothiba Lebo scored tripple goals
Orleans had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Gomis Arthur ('2), Cambon ('10) and Bouby ('41), while Valenciennes only scored once Mothiba Lebo ('19). Trailing 3-1 at half time, the Athenians nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Mothiba Lebo '56, '86 and Nabab '83 own).
US Orleans remains in 9th place with 15 points from 10 games, one point behind Nimes Olympique.
