MLS : Real Salt Lake defeats Red Bulls 2-1
UNITED STATES, Jun. 22, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 2-2 draw against Portland Timbers on June 18, the Royals returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over New York Red Bulls this Wednesday.
New York Red Bulls had started off well by taking the lead in the 7th minute with a goal by Baah Gideon. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Royals nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Movsisyan Yura '65 and Allen Jordan '88).
Real Salt Lake remains in third place with 27 points from 15 games, one point behind FC Dallas.
