MLS : Real Salt Lake and Portland play to a 2-2 draw
UNITED STATES, Jun. 18, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: Real Salt Lake was held to a 2-2 draw by Portland Timbers on Saturday.
Portland Timbers players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Adi Fanendo ('29) and Melano Lucas ('44) while Real Salt Lake only scored once Martinez Juan ('17). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Real Salt Lake with a saving goal from Movsisyan Yura on penalty in the 70th minute.
Real Salt Lake climbed to third place with 24 points from 14 games, 4 points behind FC Dallas.
