MLS : Portland beats Vancouver 4-2

UNITED STATES, May. 22, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After three straigth victories against Portland Timbers, Chicago Fire and Toronto FC, the Caps lost 4-2 against Portland Timbers.

Portland Timbers dominated the first half thanks to goals from Valeri Diego ('4 on penalty) and Mclnerney Jack ('29). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Timbers further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Asprilla Dairon '78/penalty and Nagbe Darlington '82).

Vancouver Whitecaps FC are down in fifth place with 20 points from 14 games, tie on points with Real Salt Lake, which has three games in hand.
