UNITED STATES, Jun. 25, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After a 4-3 victory over Chicago Fire on June 22, The U lost 3-2 against Vancouver Whitecaps.
Philadelphia Union opened the score in the score in the 14th minute thanks to Alberg Roland, before Vancouver Whitecaps regained the advantage with Jacobson Andrew ('19) and Manneh Kekuta ('41). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Caps further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bolanos Christian with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Philadelphia Union remains in fourth place with 26 points from 17 games, one point behind Real Salt Lake, which has a game in hand.
