MLS : LA Galaxy beats Vancouver 2-0
UNITED STATES, Jul. 4, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 0-0 draw against Colorado Rapids on June 25 and 1-1 draw against San Jose Earthquakes on June 25, the Galaxy bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps this Monday.
LA Galaxy dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Keane Robbie in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Galaxy further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Larentowicz Jeff in the 47th minute.
Los Angeles Galaxy climbed to fifth place with 26 points from 17 games, only one point behind New York City FC.
