MLS : Seattle defeats Dallas 5-0
UNITED STATES, Jul. 13, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After three straigth victories against Real Salt Lake, Orlando City and San Jose Earthquakes, the Hoops lost 5-0 against Seattle Sounders FC.
Seattle Sounders FC dominated the first half thanks to goals from Dempsey Clint ('6 on penalty), Ivanschitz Andreas ('18) and Morris Jordan ('22). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Rave Green further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Jones Joevin '61 and Roldan Christian '73).
FC Dallas remains in first place with 37 points from 21 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Colorado Rapids, which has three games in hand.
