No goals in the first half and two each in the second, Magee Mike ('80) and Cole Ashley ('89) for LA Galaxy, Veron Gonzalo ('68) and Davis Sean ('74) for New York Red Bulls.
Los Angeles Galaxy climbed to third place with 37 points from 22 games, 4 points behind Colorado Rapids.
