MLS : Red Bulls beats Montreal 3-1

UNITED STATES, Aug. 13, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 2-2 draw against Chicago Fire on August 7 and 2-2 draw against LA Galaxy on August 7, New York Red Bulls returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Montreal Impact this Saturday.

Wright-phillips Bradley scored dual goals

Montreal Impact opened the score in the score in the 21st minute thanks to Piatti Ignacio, before New York Red Bulls regained the advantage with Wright-phillips Bradley ('22, '41). Leading 2-1 at the break, New York Red Bulls players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Davis Sean in the 46th minute.

New York Red Bulls climbed to 6th place with 36 points from 25 games, only one point behind Real Salt Lake, which has a game in hand.
