MLS : DC United and Red Bulls play to a 2-2 draw

UNITED STATES, Aug. 21, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: The match between DC United and New York Red Bulls ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday.

New York Red Bulls players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Wright-phillips Bradley in the 38th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Felipe Martins goal ('64) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by DC United with goals by Sarvas Marcelo ('71 on penalty) and Mullins Patrick ('73).

New York Red Bulls remains in 8th place with 37 points from 26 games, one point behind Sporting Kansas City.
