UNITED STATES, Aug. 13, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 1-1 draw against Montreal Impact on August 6 and 2-2 draw against Philadelphia Union on August 6, DCU bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Portland Timbers this Saturday.

All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Birnbaum Steven ('7) and Acosta Luciano ('29).

Portland Timbers are down in 11st place with 32 points from 25 games, one point behind Montreal Impact, which has two games in hand.
