UNITED STATES, Aug. 21, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: Three wins in a row for Seattle Sounders FC. After their success against Orlando City and Real Salt Lake, the Rave Green continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 3-1 victory over Portland Timbers this Sunday.
Dempsey Clint scored dual goals
45 minutes of play and neither Seattle Sounders FC nor Portland Timbers have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Dempsey Clint ('61 on penalty, '80) and Roldan Christian ('83).
Portland Timbers remains in 11st place with 32 points from 26 games, one point behind Montreal Impact, which has two games in hand.
