UNITED STATES, Aug. 27, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 1-2 to Philadelphia Union on August 24, the Black & Gold returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over San Jose Earthquakes this Saturday.
Columbus Crew dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Finlay Ethan in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Black & Gold further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Meram Justin on penalty with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
San Jose Earthquakes are down in 13rd place with 32 points from 26 games, tie on points with Portland Timbers.
