MLS : LA Galaxy beats Columbus 2-1
UNITED STATES, Sep. 3, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 2-2 draw against Chicago Fire on August 27 and 0-0 draw against Vancouver Whitecaps on August 27, the Galaxy returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Columbus Crew this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Husidic Baggio ('78) and Dos Santos Giovani ('82).
Los Angeles Galaxy climbed to third place with 43 points from 27 games, only one point behind New York City FC.
