MLS : Real Salt Lake and LA Galaxy play to a 3-3 draw
UNITED STATES, Sep. 7, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: LA Galaxy was held to a 3-3 draw by Real Salt Lake on Wednesday.
LA Galaxy players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Boateng Emmanuel in the 7th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite goals by Dos Santos Giovani ('57, '64) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Real Salt Lake with goals by Plata Joao ('53 on penalty, '67) and Martinez Juan ('90).
Los Angeles Galaxy climbed to second place with 44 points from 28 games, 7 points behind FC Dallas.
