MLS : Vancouver beats Columbus 3-1

UNITED STATES, Sep. 10, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 0-1 to New York Red Bulls on September 3, the Caps returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Columbus Crew this Saturday.

Kamara Ola opened the score in the 11th minute, before seeing Vancouver Whitecaps catch up in the 13th minute thanks to Sauro Gaston own goal. 1-1 at half time. The Caps eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Jacobson Andrew ('74) and Hurtado Erik ('82).

Vancouver Whitecaps FC climbed to 13rd place with 34 points from 29 games, tie on points with Orlando City SC, which has two games in hand.
