UNITED STATES, Oct. 1, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 0-0 draw against San Jose Earthquakes on September 24 and 3-3 draw against Vancouver Whitecaps on September 24, the Rapids returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Portland Timbers this Saturday.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Le Toux Sebastien in the 63rd minute.

the Colorado Rapids climbed to third place with 51 points from 30 games, tie on points with New York Red Bulls.
