MLS : Real Salt Lake defeats Colorado 4-1
UNITED STATES, Aug. 26, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for Real Salt Lake. After their 4-0 win against San Jose Earthquakes on August 23, the Royals continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 4-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids this Saturday.
Silva Luis scored dual goals
Real Salt Lake dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Plata Joao in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Royals further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Silva Luis '50/penalty, '90 and Lennon Brooks '90).
Real Salt Lake climbed to 14th place with 35 points from 28 games, only one point behind Montreal Impact, which has many games in hand.
