MLS : Chicago Fire beats San Jose 4-1

UNITED STATES, Sep. 27, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 3-1 to Philadelphia Union on September 23, the Men in Red returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over San Jose Earthquakes this Wednesday.

Nikolic Nemanja scored dual goals

Chicago Fire dominated the first half thanks to goals from Mihailovic Djordje ('14) and Solignac Luis ('40). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Men in Red further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Nikolic Nemanja '48, '65).

Chicago Fire SC remains in fourth place with 51 points from 31 games, one point behind Atlanta United FC, which has a game in hand.
