MLS : Vancouver hold San Jose to 1-1

CANADA, Oct. 15, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Vancouver Whitecaps was held to a 1-1 draw by San Jose Earthquakes on Sunday.

Vancouver Whitecaps players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Reyna Yordy in the 29th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by San Jose Earthquakes with a saving goal from Qazaishvili Valeri in the 77th minute.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC are down in 6th place with 52 points from 33 games, one point behind Columbus Crew SC.
