Premier League (Week 7) : Man Utd defeats Everton 2-1
ENGLAND, Oct. 5, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Manchester United. After their 2-1 win against West Ham on September 27, the Red Devils continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Everton this Sunday.
Manchester United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Argentine midfielder Di Maria in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Red Devils further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Falcao in the 62nd minute.
Manchester United FC climbed to fourth place with 11 points from 7 games, 2 points behind Southampton, which has a game in hand.
